Cambridge, England

I first visited Cambridge during my first European trip, in 1972. I've been back many times since, and spent the most time there in 1980, when I taught for 12 weeks on US Air Force bases in nearby Lakenheath, Mildenhall and Alconbury and often lazed away an afternoon roaming around the lovely old university town, eating lunches and dinners at an inexpensive upstairs restaurant whose name escapes me, sipping pints of best bitter at the half-timbered Eagle pub, exploring the many colleges, walking across the legendary Mathematical Bridge.... This picture was taken from a punt on the Cam River.
