"The Lords' Prayer"

This is another rescue story. I wrote it many years ago, found a printout of it mixed in with a lot of other old manuscripts, and thought it was worth resubmitting to EQMM, where I'm sure I must have sent it way back when Eleanor Sullivan was still alive. So I did some polishing and sent it to Janet Hutchings, who said she liked it but not quite enough to buy it. Next stop is usually Alfred Hitchcock's Mystery Magazine, but they've been taking a year to respond to submissions and Kings River Life editor Lorie Hamm asked me if I might have something for their Father's Day issue, so I sent this along and she ran it.
